Happy Thought #37 – Focus

What is focus? In the dictionary it tells us that focus is an act of concentrating interest or activity on something.

In order for the focus to be pleasurable we need to have some feeling of passion.  Focusing on something that is not of interest to us is very difficult.  As a matter of fact I would say that it is almost impossible.

Examples of focus – Drivers, particularly those driving in extreme road conditions, always focus on where they wish to go, as we all know but as Jeannette Maw describes beautifully in one her her blog posts.  In fact, this is a very good approach for all matters that one wishes to focus upon. And as a parting note, here is the ultimate example of focus – tango and football, together. Watch this amazing performance.   There are no limiting beliefs here.  There is focused attention with emotion and with a clear purpose.  If I could play football or dance the tango like that – wow … now that is a happy thought!
